Tour Plan
Meet & Assist at Cairo International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Drive afterward to Zamalek Neighborhood to get the vibe of one of Cairo’s most excellent and modern neighborhoods.
Dine at Abou El Seid restaurant offering Egyptian Cuisine. Abu El Sid was the personal cook for our late King Farouk and is one of my personal favorite restaurants serving authentic Egyptian food similar to what an average family would prepare at home.
Escorted Tour to visit: Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square (Tahrir Square is where the 25th of Jan revolution/strikes took place), it’s the major museum with a huge collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities including but not limited Tut Ankh Amoun famous treasures. Break for lunch. Head afterward to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, visit the three Great Pyramids & Sphinx, Ride a camel and take some pictures and enjoy the area. [Visit order might be swapped to Pyramids first then Museum according to traffic]. Return to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Optional Tour to Alexandria, over a day from Cairo. Early breakfast from the hotel or breakfast box. Head to Alexandria via Cairo – Alex desert road. Escorted tour to visit Kom El Shokafa Katacombs, Amphi Theater, and the Library of Alexandria. Enjoy the sea breeze with a fish lunch close to the Mediterranean Sea. Return to Cairo and overnight.
Head to the Pyramids to fly over in a Paramotor or Motorized Paragliding. Escorted Tour to visit Islamic Cairo. Sultan Hassan Mosque, Ibn Tolon Mosque & Gayer Anderson Museum. And Citadel of Saladin. Return to hotel. Evening tour to visit Khan El Khalili Market & walk in El Moez Street. Free evening and overnight in Cairo and food tour for Carnivore Lovers at El Monofy Tagamoa.
Pick up and transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor. Fly to Luxor on Egypt Air MS74. Arrive at Luxor Airport and transfer to the hotel to check in. Free evening to walk the Nile’s cornish and recommended dinner at Old Winter Palace.
Escorted tour to visit West Bank: Valley of the Kings including Tut Ankh Amoun Tomb and one more to choose from the available Tombs on the day of the trip, Valley of the Queens including Nerfertai Tomb, Medinat Habu, Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir El Bahary and the Colossi of Memnon. Free time for lunch. Return to hotel after a long day. Free evening to relax.
The day before we visited Luxor horizontally, today we visit vertically by an optional Hot Air Balloon in Luxor. Pick up at around 4:30am. Escorted Tour to visit Luxor Temple & Karnak Temple in the East Bank of Luxor followed by Museum of Luxor. Lunch at Sofra, [transprotation and booking included yet lunch cost is not included]. Proceed after lunch to visit Banana Island.
Breakfast at the hotel. Escorted tour to visit Dendra & Abydos, north of Luxor. Most of the monuments have greatly preserved their colors over the years. Which is quite phenomenal. This is a long day trip outside Luxor with limited choices of restaurants, preferably prepare your lunch snacks before heading.
