10 Days Egypt Tour Itinerary
Here’s how to do it:
Day 1 – Welcome to Egypt
Welcome to Egypt and the start of a wonderful Egypt holiday! Arrive at Cairo airport, meet and greet service and included transfer to your 5 star Cairo hotel, located at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Day 2 – Saqqara and Giza pyramids Tour
Cairo – Aswan. Today visit to the stunning pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) – the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site and see Zhoser’s step pyramid – constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 2700 BC. Later, train to Aswan.

Day 3 – Aswan Tours
Aswan – Abu Simbel. After arrival and check in in Aswan we visit the Temples of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Spend the rest of the day at leisure; shop in the colourful souqs or simply kick back and relax.

Day 4 – Abu simbel sun festival
Today it has to be the 22nd of October or FEBRUARY. Abu Simbel – Aswan – Nile Cruise. Possibly the most awe-inspiring temple of all ancient Egypt, with its gargantuan rock-cut façade, the great Sun Temple of King Ramses II at Abu Simbel was created to revere the mighty pharaonic ruler King Ramses II. Ramses the Bold, Ramses the Great, Ramses the Narcissist is perhaps all apt titles for one of ancient Egypt’s most powerful rulers. Celebrating a life that spanned nearly a centenary, Ramses had plenty of time for his more than 200 wives and concubines who produced him some 96 sons and 60 daughters.

Day 5 – Nile cruise sailing
Nile cruising. Relax as we sail the Nile. Later today we visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. A unique riverside temple, it is unusual in that everything architecturally is doubled and perfectly symmetrical along the main axis of the temple including twin halls, courts, colonnades, sanctuaries, and entrances.

Day 6 – Temple of Edfu
Today we visit the temple of HORUS AT Edfu town then to sail again towards Esna Lock and Luxor.

Day 7 – Luxor west bank tour
Early this morning we arrive in Luxor. The massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments you’ll see during our morning visit to the West Bank – home to the legendary Valley of the Kings. You’ll also see the colonnaded Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return to Luxor for check-in on board our Nile 5 star cruiser. Lunch at leisure and time to relax until our early evening visit to the Temple of Luxor. Luxor Temple looks stunning at dusk and is beautifully illuminated at night.

Day 8 – Karnak
Today we tour the ancient city of Thebes (the East Bank), taking in the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, Karnak is a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. Also Luxor temple .

Day 9 – Visiting The Egyptian Museum
This morning we arrive back in Cairo and embark on a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum, acclaimed for its treasures of King Tutankhamun and his famous solid gold funerary mask. Then we offer an optional visit to the exotic Khan el Khalili Bazaar.

Day 10 – Departure
Our Egyptian adventure comes to an end today. Included departure transfer to the airport later today in time for your international flight.
