In Aswan a visit to the High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk is already included in your Nile Cruise package. On the way from Luxor to Aswan or vice versa, we will have two stops, where we will visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu and the Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo.
In addition to the scheduled visits to the highlights of Luxor and Aswan , we will have the chance to offer very special additional tours like sailing by felucca to the Nubian Village in Aswan, trying the Hot Air Balloon over the impressive temples of Luxor and more!
You’ve got options! If you’re cruising the Nile for 3, 4, or 7 nights, you’ve got time to squeeze in one or two optional tours alongside the regular historical site visits in Aswan, Luxor, and everything in between.
How about a Hot Air Balloon ride in Luxor, catching the Sound & Light Show at Karnak or Philae Temple, or sailing by Felucca around the gorgeous islands of Luxor and Aswan? And for those who love the hidden gems, there’s the chance to explore Pharaonic sites like the Valley of the Queens, the Ramsseum, Temple of Madinet Habu, and the tombs of Deir El Madina in Luxor. Oh, and in Aswan, we’ve got the hookup for visits to the stunning Temples of Abu Simbel, the Temple of Kalabsha, the Nubian Museum, and the natural beauty of Nubian Village.

Morning time, you will be met by our local representative in Luxor, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise. After lunch, you will join our tour guide to visit Temple of Karnak, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years. We will then visit Luxor Temple, which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and others kings. After the tour, you will be transferred to your Nile Cruise for rest and refresh. Evening time is free at leisure on your own to relax on board or we can offer an (optional) tour to attend the Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple, one of the remarkable shows in Egypt. Finally, we will get back to our Nile Cruise for overnight.
Energizing breakfast will be served on board. After that, we will visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. Our next visit of the day will be to Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut. On our return way to the cruise, we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of king Amenhotep III. Finally, we will transfer you to your Nile Cruise.
Energizing breakfast will be served on board before our full day tour. Our Nile Cruise ship will land at the location of the city of Edfu, where we will visit the Temple of Horus, constructed by the Ptolemies in the 3rd century BC for the worship of the god Horus, the avenger of his father. After this marvelous visit, we will get back to our Nile Cruiser for lunch, rest and refresh. We will then proceed to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, established in the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman Era. Finally, you will be transferred back to your Nile cruise ship for rest and refresh. Evening time, Egyptian folklore show will be operated by the staff.
Breakfast meal will be served on board. After that, you will prepare yourself to join your expert tour guide to explore the wonderful city of Aswan. Our first visit of the day will be to the High Dam, which was constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water, and then generate a large volume of the electricity. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the cult center of the goddess Isis. Our last visit will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the day tour, we will drive back to our Nile cruiser, so we can enjoy the tasty lunch. Evening time is free at leisure on your own to relax on board or we can offer an (optional) tour to attend the Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple, where you can learn more about the temple and about the kings who left their objects there. Finally, we will get back to our Nile Cruise for overnight.
Check out after breakfast. “Depends on the schedule of your flight”, you’ll be met by our local representative in Aswan, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan Airport in order to catch your flight to your next destination, where our services will be ended.
