I came for the Pyramids but stayed for everything else. The museums, the temples, the cruise down the Nile — all of it was pure gold.
But don’t get me wrong, Hurghada was a blast. Picture-perfect beaches, fresh seafood, and snorkeling that felt like swimming through a painting.
If Egypt’s on your list, this itinerary is the way to do it — the perfect mix of old-world wonder and new-age comfort

You want pyramids? Got ‘em. Ancient tombs? Plenty. Five-star treatment? Absolutely. This trip really packed it all in without feeling rushed.
Cairo had us busy, but the Nile Cruise gave us time to relax while still exploring. I loved how the cruise guides explained the history in a way that wasn’t boring.
And ending in Hurghada was genius. We lounged, we swam, we even saw dolphins from a boat tour

I’ve always had Egypt on my list, but this 13-day journey blew away all expectations. Cairo’s chaos had its charm — we ziplined between food stalls (okay not really, but we did eat a lot).
The cruise portion was peaceful. Seeing the sunrise over Luxor Temple was spiritual, even if I’m not the spiritual type.
Hurghada was all about vibes. Sun, sea, and coral reefs. I also learned I’m terrible at windsurfing, but hey, worth trying once

Me and my sister took this tour in early April, and I don’t think we’ve ever laughed more. We were those tourists — sunglasses, guidebooks, and bad Arabic accents. But the locals were warm and always willing to help.
From the grandeur of the Pyramids to the chill of the Red Sea breeze, this trip delivered. Every single hotel was spotless and elegant.
We even did a desert quad ride in Hurghada — I screamed the whole time, but it was thrilling.

I’m not usually into guided tours, but this one changed my mind. It was the perfect combo of history and beachy relaxation.
The guide in Cairo had us laughing while explaining the dynasties. We visited the Egyptian Museum, which was packed with mummies and glittery treasures.
On the cruise, the staff treated us like family. I loved the daily temple visits — Kom Ombo was eerie and beautiful.
Hurghada felt like a mini-vacation after the vacation. Lazy beach mornings and seafood dinners — what more could you want?

I still can’t get over how well this trip was planned. Everything flowed — flights, transfers, hotel check-ins. Even the weather cooperated. Cairo was full of surprises — Saladin’s Citadel had one of the best panoramic views I’ve ever seen.
The cruise gave us a chance to slow down and soak it in. We danced one night on the sundeck under the stars, with the Nile gliding past. I’ll never forget that.
Hurghada had the vibe of a Caribbean beach town but with better diving.

We booked this trip between February and March, and the weather couldn’t have been better. Cairo was lively and historic — we had a guide who made every stone come alive with stories.
The Nile Cruise was fancy in all the right ways. Our room had a little balcony where I’d drink my morning coffee and watch Egypt pass by. Karnak Temple was a favorite — I swear those columns go on forever.
Once we reached Hurghada, we swapped temples for towels. The water was clear as glass, and the coral reefs were stunning. My husband even said this was the first trip he didn’t want to end.

This wasn’t just a vacation, it was a full-on Egyptian experience. Cairo was a perfect opener — bustling, beautiful, and full of iconic sights. Climbing inside a pyramid was something I never thought I’d do, but here I am, bragging about it.
The cruise ship? Straight-up luxury. Marble floors, fine dining, rooftop pool. It cruised like a dream, and the stops in Luxor and Aswan were packed with myth and magic. I touched hieroglyphs that were thousands of years old. Wild stuff.
And Hurghada? Felt like a tropical escape. I even tried scuba diving and met a turtle. No joke.

I’ve always wanted to see the Pyramids, but this tour gave me so much more. We started in Cairo, and the Egyptian Museum had me wide-eyed for hours — King Tut’s mask was even shinier than I imagined.
The Nile Cruise felt like a floating hotel, complete with spa services and gourmet meals. We’d wake up each day to new views and ancient temples. Karnak and Edfu were like stepping into a movie set, only real and twice as grand.
Hurghada was pure relaxation. I spent my days floating in the Red Sea and my evenings watching sunsets with a cold hibiscus drink in hand. The staff everywhere were kind, funny, and always ready to help.

This 13-day trip was just what I needed after a long winter. From the very first step in Cairo, I was blown away by the mix of ancient grandeur and modern comfort. The hotel in Cairo was top-tier — plush beds, fast Wi-Fi, and a view of the Nile that looked straight out of a postcard. Touring the Pyramids with a local guide who knew all the fun facts was a highlight — did you know camels have three eyelids? Wild.
The Nile Cruise was another level of amazing. Smooth sailing, elegant cabins, and the food? Let’s just say I came back with more belly than I left with. Luxor and Aswan felt like open-air museums — tombs, temples, and tales of pharaohs.
Ending in Hurghada was the cherry on top. I snorkeled with fish that looked like living neon signs. The Red Sea is a whole other world, and the beach resort had cabanas that made me feel like royalty. Highly recommend packing reef-safe sunscreen and stretchy pants.
