The Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise features 77 spacious cabins; 73 double cabins, 2 single cabins and 2 suites offering the highest standard of comfort. All cabins are fully air-conditioned (individually controlled), The spacious restaurant offers International and Oriental cuisine including mouth-watering Egyptian dishes. Accommodation is on a full board basis with daily tea time service served on sun deck during sailing.

While cruising along the Nile, we will make several stops to explore the distinct treasures of both ancient and modern monuments. Our itinerary includes visits to noteworthy sites such as the High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan. In Luxor, our planned excursions encompass the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, the Colossi of Memnon, the Karnak Temples Complex, and the Temple of Luxor.

Additionally, our esteemed guests traveling to Egypt will have the opportunity to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, known as the Crocodile Temple, and the exceptionally well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu.

For those seeking more tailored experiences, a variety of optional tours are available upon request. Guests cruising the Nile for 03, 04, or 07 nights will find ample time to participate in one or two optional tours alongside the standard visits to historical sites in Aswan, Luxor, and the surrounding areas.

Among the optional tours on offer are the Hot Air Balloon experience in Luxor, the captivating Sound & Light Show at Karnak or Philae Temple, a leisurely sail by Felucca or sailing boat around the enchanting islands of Luxor and Aswan, and visits to lesser-known Pharaonic sites such as the Valley of the Queens, the Ramsseum, Temple of Madinet Habu, and the tombs of Deir El Madina in Luxor. Tour Itinerary

Every Monday from Aswan to Luxor for 03 nights Day 01: Monday (Lunch & Dinner)

Morning time, you will be met by our local representative in Aswan, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise boat. We will check-in our boat within few minutes. After that, you will join our professional tour guide to visit the Aswan High Dam, constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to store the water of the Nile, and then generate electricity. We will then drive to shores of the River Nile and take a motor boat to reach the Agilika Island to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman period. Our last visit of this marvelous day tour in Aswan will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the tour, we will get back to our Nile Cruise boat for overnight.

Every Monday from Aswan to Luxor for 03 nights Day 02: Tuesday (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Energizing breakfast on the cruise. Our Nile Cruise boat will be landed at the location of the city of Kom Ombo, where we will visit Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, established in the Ptolemaic period, completed in the Roman era, and was dedicated to two gods, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. After that, we will get back to our boat for rest and refresh. Later on, we will visit Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. We will then get back to our boat for overnight.

Every Monday from Aswan to Luxor for 03 nights Day 03: Wednesday (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Free morning on your own or (optional) we can offer a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the city of the dead where we can visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. The next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Our last visit will be to the Colossi of Memnon; these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards. After that, we will get back to our boat for overnight.

Every Monday from Aswan to Luxor for 03 nights Day 04: Thursday (Breakfast)

Check out after breakfast. Later on, we will move to explore the east bank of Luxor including two marvelous temple complexes. Our first visit of the day will be to the Karnak Temples Complex, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. We will then visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple that was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your location in Luxor.
