Start your submarine experience with a morning hotel pickup in Hurghada. Hop inside a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and travel to the marina, where the bright yellow Sindbad submarine awaits. Step aboard and be greeted by the friendly crew. Then, set sail onto the Red Sea, heading for an area of coral reefs.
The submarine seats 44 passengers and has two pilots. Once your submarine descends underwater, settle into your seat and look out through the panoramic windows, all specially designed to maximise your viewing. Your pilot will take the submarine to a depth of about 72 feet (22 meters).
Gaze out at the reefs and shoals of exotic fish such as wrasse, parrotfish and grouper, and watch for other aquatic creatures like rays, eels, and even turtles. After your roughly 50-minute sea trip, your submarine will dock back at the pier. Your experience then concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.

We booked the Sindbad Submarine during our Egypt trip for something fun and different—and it was. The whole tour was smooth sailing from start to finish (pun intended 😄). Once we submerged, it felt like entering a hidden world full of color and calm. You sit in a pressurized cabin, and outside your window, the Red Sea reveals its secrets—rainbow fish, corals, and all kinds of underwater motion. A very cool ride, especially for folks who don’t dive.

I didn’t think a two-hour ride in a submarine would be this cool. But the Sindbad Submarine made it feel like we were in an episode of National Geographic. We saw bright coral walls, tiny colorful fish, and even a sea turtle just hanging out near the glass. I liked how they kept things relaxed—no rush, no fuss. Just sit, look, and be amazed.

We joined the Sindbad Submarine tour in January 2025, just to try something different, and I’m so glad we did. It was like watching the world’s best screensaver come to life 🐟 The glass windows gave us up-close views of some of the prettiest coral reefs I’ve ever seen. I especially liked how the crew explained everything in clear English and made the experience lighthearted. Definitely a fun family memory.

I’ve done plenty of sea tours in my time, but nothing quite like this. The Sindbad Submarine is an elegant solution to underwater exploring without the usual hassle. No need to swim or dive. We saw bright yellow tangs, schools of silver fish, and bizarre-looking coral towers. It’s kind of relaxing and exciting all at once. And best of all—it’s fully air-conditioned and super comfy inside.

Forget snorkeling, we went full Captain Nemo 😄 The Sindbad Submarine in Hurghada offers such a cool peek into Red Sea life, especially if you don’t like getting wet. My kids were glued to the windows the whole time, pointing out fish and corals like little marine biologists. The descent was slow and smooth, and the guide was fantastic. You really feel like you’re part of something unique.

The Sindbad Submarine tour felt like slipping into another world—no snorkels, no wetsuits, just panoramic underwater beauty. The inside was clean, cool, and surprisingly spacious. The windows gave us amazing views of reefs teeming with fish. It’s a short tour, around two hours, but packed with visual joy. I’d recommend doing it in the morning when the light makes the colors pop. 🌊

If you’ve never been in a submarine before, this one’s a smooth intro. We did the Sindbad Submarine trip during our honeymoon in April, and it was one of the most memorable parts. I kept thinking, “We’re really underwater!” The sub goes down to 22 meters and stays there long enough for you to soak in all the Red Sea’s magic—clownfish, parrotfish, and so much coral you’ll think someone painted it. Very chill vibe too.

I didn’t expect a full-blown underwater journey when I booked this, but wow, the Sindbad Submarine Tour really surprised me. Imagine rolling deep beneath the sea with coral reefs stretching out like underwater cities. It’s calm, it’s surreal, and it’s cooler than most aquariums. The best part? You’re seeing the Red Sea from a completely new angle. If you’re nervous about diving, this is the ultimate solution—dry clothes, full comfort, and views to brag about back home.

Diving 22 meters below the Red Sea without even getting wet? Count me in. The Sindbad Submarine is one of those “bucket list” things I didn’t even know I had until I did it. I went in March 2025, and let me tell you, the underwater visibility was crystal clear. We saw vibrant coral gardens and schools of neon-colored fish darting around like traffic in Cairo. The submarine itself feels futuristic—fully air-conditioned, big round windows, and comfy seats. Our captain even cracked a few jokes. It was both relaxing and thrilling, like a nature documentary that you sit inside of.

Underwater wonderland with zero effort—just sit back and enjoy the show 🐠 The Sindbad Submarine ride gave us front-row seats to some of the most colorful marine life I’ve ever seen. The descent to 22 meters was smooth, and the crew explained everything with such passion. It felt like floating through a giant aquarium built by Mother Nature. My husband and I did this in February, and we couldn’t stop talking about it afterward.
