Temple Hopping with a Side of Sunshine
This cruise was all about balance. History in the morning, lounging in the afternoon. We saw massive temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo, walked through halls full of hieroglyphs, then came back to fruit smoothies by the pool.
There was even a Nubian-themed dinner one night with live music—so much fun. Everyone danced, including a few shy husbands who discovered their inner groove.
If you’re after sunshine, stories, and a sprinkle of silly, this is your cruise.

Luxury Meets Legends on the Nile’s Smooth Waters
Three nights on MS Zeina felt like the perfect reset button. The rooms were spacious, and the bed? Like sleeping in a cloud. After exploring ancient temples, we’d come back to cool air, amazing meals, and cold drinks.
One evening we passed a local wedding on the riverbank. The crew slowed down, and we watched the drums and dancing from the deck. Felt like we got a glimpse into real Egyptian life, not just the tourist stuff.
Totally unique experience—both fancy and real at the same time.

Three Nights of Floating Bliss and Pharaonic Dreams
As a retired schoolteacher, I’m not easily impressed by history tours—but this one was a dream. MS Zeina took us through time with class and comfort.
We cruised past banana plantations and temple ruins while sipping fresh juice and lounging on comfy deck chairs. Our room had huge windows that made every morning magical.
The highlight for me was the Valley of the Kings. Seeing the tombs up close, after decades of teaching about them, gave me chills. I can still hear the guide’s voice echoing down those painted halls

The Nile in HD from a Floating Five-Star Hotel
This wasn’t just a cruise—it was a National Geographic documentary with air conditioning. MS Zeina has panoramic views from just about everywhere. I swear even the gym had Nile views.
We spent three nights being spoiled with gourmet meals, guided tours of ancient sites, and gorgeous rooms that looked straight out of an interior design magazine.
Edfu Temple was massive, and riding there by horse carriage gave it an old-school explorer vibe. Add in the staff’s warm smiles and constant care, and you’ve got an unforgettable trip

Ancient Egypt Just Got a Luxury Upgrade
Imagine waking up to the sound of birds and the Nile lapping against your window, then heading down to a breakfast spread that rivals any five-star hotel. That’s MS Zeina.
I’ve traveled a lot, but never like this. Each excursion—whether to Luxor or the lesser-known Esna—was perfectly timed to avoid the crowds. The crew always welcomed us back with cool towels and hibiscus juice. It’s those small touches that made the cruise unforgettable.
My favorite moment? Stargazing from the top deck with my husband, wrapped in a blanket, with the whole sky ours.

History with a Side of Spa Treatments
What sold me on this cruise? Two things: ancient ruins and deep-tissue massages. Turns out, MS Zeina delivered both better than I could’ve hoped. The spa team was world-class—my back hasn’t felt this good since my twenties.
Our stops at Karnak and Philae Temples were spectacular. We had ample time to explore, snap pics, and still make it back for a hot stone treatment and mint tea.
Traveling by river was such a serene way to explore Egypt. No crowds, no stress—just smooth sailing with five-star service.

Cultural Immersion Meets Floating Comfort on the Nile
I was honestly taken aback by how much we learned about ancient Egypt without stepping foot in a classroom. Our guide aboard MS Zeina had the voice of a storyteller and the knowledge of a scholar. We sailed past forgotten villages and colossal temples, all while he explained the myths and legends behind them.
At night, the ship felt like a floating boutique hotel—stylish, quiet, and filled with soft jazz by the bar. I loved hearing the call to prayer echo off the water at dawn, sipping my coffee while fishermen cast their nets.
It’s the kind of experience that fills your soul and your camera roll

Unexpected Luxury and Laughs on the Nile
We didn’t know a cruise could be this relaxing and hilarious. The entertainment on MS Zeina had us belly-laughing most evenings. One night, a guy tried belly dancing after dinner—pretty sure I pulled a muscle from laughing.
The temples were mind-blowing. Edfu made me feel like Indiana Jones. But let me tell you, coming back to air conditioning and five-star meals on board after a day in the sun? Absolute magic. The food was another highlight—flavorful, fresh, and full of surprises. Egyptian wine? Surprisingly good.
Definitely not your grandma’s cruise. Loved every sun-soaked, laughter-filled moment.

Sailing the Nile in Style with Ancient Wonders at Every Turn
MS Zeina was more than just a cruise—it was an adventure through time wrapped in pure luxury. From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew treated us like royalty. The sun deck became our daily haven, where we soaked up views of banana groves and ancient temples gliding past. I never imagined lounging on a plush lounger while watching camels walk the desert edge would be my thing—but it is now.
Each day brought a fresh marvel—Luxor Temple lit up at night was breathtaking, and Kom Ombo’s crocodile mummies were equal parts spooky and cool. The cabins were top-tier with big windows that made me feel like I was floating through history. Pro tip: don’t miss the tea service at sunset. Felt like Cleopatra sipping with style
