You are welcome on board of M/S Le Fayan Nile Cruise, a 5 stars floating hotel with its luxurious hospitality and fascinating internal designs that will mix between the history you see in the famous Temples of the Upper Egypt and the modernity of the ship decor. The cruise has 57 Cabins and 03 Suites.
With a modern sun deck, pool, spacious lounges, bar, gym, spa, outside dining and fine dining restaurant there is plenty to do while cruising.
The 57 spacious rooms enjoy floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the Nile landscapes. The rooms accommodate single or double occupancy. All the rooms have a seating area of two lounge chairs and a coffee table. Rooms enjoy a dresser and a small desk area, a large flat screen LCD TV with cable channels, WiFi Internet, a fully stocked mini-bar fridge, electronic safe, closets, drawers and room service. The rooms have a modern white marble and wood bathroom with a multi-head shower.
While embarking on a leisurely cruise along the majestic Nile, our journey unfolds with carefully planned stops that invite exploration of the diverse collections of both ancient and modern monuments. The first leg of our itinerary includes visits to iconic sites in Aswan, where the imposing High Dam stands as a testament to modern engineering, the Temple of Philae captivates with its ancient allure, and the Unfinished Obelisk hints at the ambitious undertakings of antiquity.
As our vessel gracefully glides towards Luxor, a city steeped in historical grandeur, a series of scheduled visits await our guests. The renowned Valley of the Kings beckons with its royal tombs, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari reveals the architectural brilliance of the ancient world, the Colossi of Memnon stand as silent sentinels to a bygone era, and the sprawling Karnak Temples Complex and the Temple of Luxor showcase the grandeur of ancient Egyptian religious and architectural achievements.

The optional tours include exhilarating experiences such as a Hot Air Balloon ride in Luxor, providing a bird’s-eye view of the ancient landscape; the captivating Sound & Light Show at Karnak or Philae Temple, bringing history to life through multimedia presentations; a serene sail by Felucca or sailing boat around the enchanting islands of Luxor and Aswan, allowing guests to bask in the natural beauty of the Nile; and visits to hidden gems of Pharaonic heritage, including the Valley of the Queens, the majestic Ramsseum, the atmospheric Temple of Madinet Habu, and the poignant tombs of Deir El Madina in Luxor. Moreover, in Aswan, our arrangements seamlessly facilitate visits to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, the venerable Temple of Kalabsha, the immersive Nubian Museum, and the tranquil Nubian Village, offering a glimpse into the authentic cultural tapestry of the region.
In crafting this comprehensive itinerary, our aim is to provide an unforgettable odyssey through the heart of Egypt, where each stop unfolds a chapter in the captivating story of a civilization that has left an indelible mark on the annals of human history. Our Nile cruise promises not just a journey through time but an immersive experience, where the past and present converge to create a mosaic of wonders that resonate with the spirit of discovery.
Morning time, you will be met by our local representative in Aswan, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise boat. We will check-in our boat within few minutes. After that, you will join our professional tour guide to visit the Aswan High Dam, constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to store the water of the Nile, and then generate electricity. We will then drive to shores of the River Nile and take a motor boat to reach the Agilika Island to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman period. Our last visit of this marvelous day tour in Aswan will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the tour, we will get back to our Nile Cruise boat for overnight.
Energizing breakfast on the cruise. Our Nile Cruise boat will be landed at the location of the city of Kom Ombo, where we will visit Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, established in the Ptolemaic period, completed in the Roman era, and was dedicated to two gods, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. After that, we will get back to our boat for rest and refresh. Later on, we will visit Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. We will then get back to our boat for overnight.
Free morning on your own or (optional) we can offer a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the city of the dead where we can visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. The next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Our last visit will be to the Colossi of Memnon; these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards. After that, we will get back to our boat for overnight.
Check out after breakfast. Later on, we will move to explore the east bank of Luxor including two marvelous temple complexes. Our first visit of the day will be to the Karnak Temples Complex, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. We will then visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple that was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your location in Luxor.
